Last updated: 11 October 2026 At 10 Minutes with Jesus we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit 10minuteswithjesus.org or write to us, why we use it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies in Ireland and the rest of the EU.
The data controller is 10 Minutes with Jesus, the English edition of the 10 Minutos con Jesús initiative: a non-profit evangelisation project run by volunteer priests and lay people, started in Spain in 2018 and led in English by a team from England and Ireland. It is not a separate legal entity. For anything related to your data, please write to us through the contact form on this website and put “Data protection” in your message.
Contact form. Your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you. Browsing. As with any website, our server receives your IP address, browser and device type, the page you visit and the date and time. These are used only to deliver the page and keep the site secure. Visitor statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets no cookies and does not identify you: each visit is recognised by a temporary code that is discarded after 24 hours, and we only see totals. We do not use your data for advertising, we never sell it, and we make no automated decisions or profiles about you.
• Contact form: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR / GDPR), given when you send it. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before. • Browsing and statistics: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in running a working, secure website and understanding, in aggregate, how it is used.
When you write to us you may tell us about your faith or spiritual life. The law treats this as special category data. We only process it because you choose to share it, with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), and only to reply to you. Please only share what you are comfortable sharing.
Your message is read only by the members of our team who need to reply. We also use these providers, who process data on our behalf: • Vercel Inc. (USA): website hosting and visitor statistics. • Resend (USA): delivering contact-form messages by email. • Google (Gmail): the mailbox where we receive messages. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension where the provider is certified, or otherwise on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
• Contact-form messages: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and at most two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. • Server logs: a few days, according to Vercel’s retention periods. • Statistics: in aggregate form only, with nothing that identifies you.
Some parts of the website come from other services, which may receive your IP address and have their own privacy policies: • YouTube (Google): to show our video gallery, your browser fetches the list of videos and their thumbnails from Google’s servers. Videos play in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only when you press play. • Google Fonts: the website’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers. • Teaming: the donations box is loaded from teaming.net. If you donate, you do so on Teaming under its privacy policy; we never receive your payment details. • External links: WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iVoox, Hozana, the App Store, Google Play and other sites we link to process your data under their own policies once you visit them.
This website sets no cookies of its own and no advertising cookies. It only keeps, for the length of your session, a temporary copy of the video list in your browser so the page loads faster; it contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the tab. The third-party services above may use their own cookies when you interact with them.
If you are under 13 (in the UK) or under 16 (in Ireland), please ask a parent or guardian to write to us with you.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, or to withdraw your consent. Write to us through the contact form; we will reply within one month. If we are unsure who you are, we may ask for something to confirm your identity. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK (ico.org.uk), to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (www.dataprotection.ie) or to the data protection authority in your country.
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and messages arrive in protected accounts that only our team can access.
