In June 2018, María Feria — a mother and a teacher at a Catholic school in Galicia, Spain — asked the school chaplain to record some short spiritual talks so she could share them with her children and other young people over the summer. Fr. José María invited other priest friends to join him, and by the end of the summer hundreds of people were already receiving the audios every day. The priests decided to carry on, and they have recorded a 10-minute talk every day since then.
On August 22, 2019, Fr. Joe, Fr. Gavan and Fr. George, priests of Opus Dei, began to record the meditations in English with a few other priest friends and the help of Laura, Cristina and Juanes, among others. Soon they were joined by priests from other English-speaking countries.
Today the team is scattered all over the world — we don’t even all know each other. It was the internet and love for Jesus that united us. Priests and lay people from the five continents make it possible for thousands of people to spend 10 minutes a day talking with Jesus.
To God be all the glory.
